We are all used to referring to the war that happened between 1914 and 1918 as the First World War, but when do you think that this term came into fruition?
Most people would go ahead and state that it must have happened after the Second World War as that would make sense, but if you thought that this would be the case, then you are wrong.
Instead, the term was created by a journalist just after the end of the war in 1918. Apparently he was convinced that this would not be the end and that another war was going to be inevitable. However, he had no idea just how accurate he was going to be and that it would happen so soon.
