The frisbee is a simple piece of fun, and yet it did mean that its inventor ended up with quite a good life thanks to this little bit of fun that he had created. However, it was after he died that things started to get a bit strange.
The man in question was Edward Headrick, and in the weeks leading up to his death he made it very clear as to what his wishes were when it came to dealing with his body. First, he wanted to be cremated rather than being buried, but it’s the reason as to why being cremated was so important that makes this story rather different.
You see, after he was cremated, he wanted his ashes to be made into some limited edition frisbees that would then be given out to people. In other words, you could get this frisbee and start throwing it around knowing full well that his ashes were pressed into it.
Some would say that this is a funny thing to do while others believe that it is rather macabre and how could he force himself onto others in that manner. No matter which one you feel is right, there’s no doubt that he made sure that people knew what he had managed to achieve when alive.
