Drone Conclusions

Wachipan is an indigenous community in the southern region of Guyana. Residents of the area are consistently worried about threats of the forest destruction in their community, so several members of the community decided to take matters into their own hands. Simply by watching tutorial videos on YouTube, they created a fixed-wing model drone with a camera mounted atop. The purpose of the drone was to capture images and videos of illegal logging to bring to the government, as the government would not intervene without proof. YouTube saves the day!
