Whenever you read anything by Shakespeare, you would be perfectly normal if you thought that very little of it made sense. Often, you are forced into thinking very hard indeed about what was said and how it all pulls together into a play that actually means something.
However, it seems that there is one simple trick that you might want to employ the next time you venture towards reading something by the Bard himself.
According to Shakespeare experts, everything becomes so much easier to understand when you read it in the voice from the time when it was written. In other words, throw away your modern accent and way of reading things, and try to use the pronunciation that was more prevalent back in his time. Not only does it become easier to understand, but it is also meant to be funnier as well, which may very well be a deal-breaker for some people.
