Chicken tikka masala is a spicy curry dish, but it’s not Indian. Nor is it from any of those other countries that are often regarded as being the proverbial hotbed of curry dishes.
Instead, it comes from the UK, and it is absolutely not an Indian dish, at least in its origins. The people in the UK love it, and even though there are various claims as to the places that actually created it, the one thing that is certain is that this curry dish was recently named as the national dish of the UK.
You have to admit that this is strange as there are a whole host of other dishes that you would have put before this as an option.
