When it comes to precious items, there is probably not one single item that can surpass your wedding ring for importance and meaning to you. So, imagine how you would feel if you ended up losing it at some point and just how absolutely devastated you would be when you suddenly realized that this had happened.
Well, it is unfortunately a more common event than you would think, but for a woman in Sweden it turned out that lady luck was on her side, even though she had to wait a considerable length of time to realize that this was indeed the case.
The Swedish woman that we are discussing was indeed unfortunate enough to lose her wedding ring, and she thought that it was gone forever and had moved on and replaced it with another. However, it would turn out that this would not actually be the case. Instead, she would have a miracle as her wedding ring would re-appear 16 years later, but where?
Well, it turned up in the most surprising of circumstances as it was sitting there wrapped around a carrot that she had grown in her garden. It was as if the carrot itself was wearing the wedding ring.
That has to go down in history as one of the most remarkable finds of all time because what are the chances of that happening? Would you wait that long to ultimately get your wedding ring back?
